I just saw Betts & GS Saturday night at the Tampa Bay Bluesfest as it was a great weekend indeed for the Blues!

I will tell you that Betts still has it at the age of 63 as he sounded as good as ever. He's got his son Duane Betts touring with him now and his son sounds like his father on guitar.

They did a tremendous version of Elizabeth Reed and Jessica. The renditions of Elzabeth Reed, Jessica, Blue Sky and Hoochie Coochie Man were worth the price of admission to the 3 day show itself!

They did several songs off their new CD to be released soon and they were great tunes.

I'm getting ready for Charlie Daniels, the Outlaws and the Marshall Tucker Band this coming Friday night!
