We are adding some new things for the next issue. A month or so ago Craig came up with an idea about adding a section in Southern Culture about fishing. I guess fishing is a big deal in the south!! Anyway, Bruce liked the idea and so did everyone else that I've talked to about it. Susan and I have contacted a few "celebrities" and asked them to submit a funny fishing story if they had one. We will be contacting more people and depending on the response we will have a category for Celebrity Fishing Stories and then one for us regular folks. We definitely need some humor in the magazine so hopefully we'll get some funny ones back.
Susan is also working with some of her buddies on the hunting sites about some hunting stories. They seem excited about it, so we're looking forward to seeing what they come up with also.
Here's the deal.......the Editor and the Head Writer of this magazine are from Arizona and California! And although I lived in the south for a whole 5 years and use the name jacksonvillekid, it doesn't exactly make me southern. So, if ANY of you have any ideas about what we can add to the magazine that is southern related, let us know. I think if we just keep doing interviews, CD or music reviews, editorials or articles that are music related....people are going to get bored.
So, if any of you have any stories that you are just dying to tell or links to websites or articles that might be interesting that are southern related......let me know. We have some very funny and intelligent people here on DSJ that I know have something to offer. Besides, most of you are Southern!!

Thanks guys!
