Morning all!
I'm not sure my stories are all that interesting.
I just want to do my part in helping the guys out. I can honestly say I've purchased more than 100 of the "Get Right with The Man" CD and shipped them to many friends & associates throughout the country. I created an email and sent it to many and I do many radio stations in OH, MI, KY, NC, and TX ( the states I travel the most). Here's what the email stated:
I just bought the "Van Zant - Get Right With The Man" CD a few weeks ago - Why haven't we heard the songs on the radio?
1. "Takin' Up Space" - It's football season!!! I have (2) boys an 8th grader and a senior in high school. GREAT Song for the guys and parents. We love it. GO ROCKETS!!!
2. "Nobody Gonna Tell Me What To Do" - Every working person I have shared this song with loves it!
3. "Help Somebody" - Just can't say enough!
4."Things I Miss The Most" - I travel so much in my job as well as others. Great to hear when I'm on the road and really missing my family, as I'm sure others do. As a mother, I love hearing the boys say "Daddy Home!"
5. "I Know My History" - Ya that's my man! He knows his HISTORY! Just as I am sure there are many other women that would say the same if they could only here the song!
6. "I Can't Help Myself" - Everyone can relate to this one. Someone in every household now days have an addiction. This song gives the non-addicted ones a different look at the addicted one's life. Needs to be shared!
7. "Plain Jane" - Not just a great song to sing along with; Every woman wants to be and every guy want to have.
8. "Been There Done That" - College Man College! Need I say more:)
Please play more Van Zant!
Thanks so much!
The week of March 17, 2006 "Help Somebody" hit #3 on my local radio station and the week of March 24, 2006 it hit the top 5 lists on several Columbus radio stations.
The song "Takin' Up Space" was the theme song for both of my boys football team. It was played before they went on the field at every home game. We had several guest ask who sang that song and of course I was more than happy to tell them. I actually had to start buying the CDs in Columbus, our local Wal-Mart couldn't keep it in stock.
I guess I would feel different if I had never met them. But these guys are just so nice and considerate of others. Their songs and actions are good roll models. I just can't say it load enough (Brother to Brother CD- lol). I can't wait for the new CD!!!! I've reserved 10 copies locally and I have several family members reserving CDs in NC. I'm getting so excited ;D
;D
