Jeff is one of the Co-founders of .38 Special along with Donnie Van Zant and Don Barnes. Jeff was a major part of .38 Special's successful formula for 20 years, untill his unfortunate departure in 1995. Jeff has a website: jeffcarlisi.com/pages/1/index.htm Please feel free to visit it. Jeff co-wrote many songs for the band. Jeff also co-wrote and recorded the song 4 wall of Raiford with Ronnie Van Zant in 1976. The original version is available on the Lynyrd Skynyrd Box set. He currently lives in Atlanta and has founded a music camp for kids called, "Camp Jam USA". Jeff's new website has a multitude of rare .38 Special photos and memorabilia and is expanding everyday More information will come as i get it. additional ifo: Jeff Carlisi left in late 1996(Don Barnes told me), tired of living out of a suitcase. He was in Bonnie Blue Band and The Big People(with the late bassist of the Cars, Ben Orr) He now runs a rock & roll camp for kids, from what I hear. Curteousy of Jimmy

Thanks Susan. The man has definitely been around. I had no idea he worked with Ben Orr. He was a great bass player and a very underrated one, in my opinion.
