Danny Chauncey Guitarist/Vocals for .38 Special
Danny Chauncey, another member of .38 Special. It has been hard finding out any back ground on. Born June 19, yr unknown. Danny joined the band in 1987 replacing Don Barnes, one of the founders of .38 Special. Danny is a talented and dedicated guitarist who shows the audience, that he can accomplish a wide range of guitar sounds. Not only does he play the guitar he also sings back up vocals. He is a great singer and I am sure he could easily do a solo number if asked to. I personally have not seen him perform a solo but am quite sure Danny is very capable of it. Danny helped produce, along with Don Barnes, ( who returned in 1991) the cd “Drive Train”. Now I don’t know what else to say about Danny. I have met him and he is very friendly with his fans and takes his job on stage serious. I think we have only seen a tip of the ice berg of what he is capable of and will remain with .38 Special for more than another decade. We have seen him go through some changes, from the long hair and a cowboy hat to a short hair cut. No matter what his look, you can be sure that when you see Danny in concert you will always leave with a memory of his performance that will stick with you forever. We love you Danny.
