Hey Jody - Thanks for the welcome back. It's good to be back on DSJ. Hope I can make it to the DSJ BBQ this year. It would be great to meet everyone, jam and listen to everyone else play a little too. And just hang out. & Bar-B-Q. I mentioned it to my drummer & one of our guitarists at band practice last night, and didnt get a big response... The guys are always asking how much $. I asked them How Much Fun Would They Like To Have. I know it's gonna be a lot of fun! But, I will try to get there if we're not giging somewhere else that weekend. Sounds like Bruce has a great plan for live music this year. I'd like to be apart of it. If I show up, let's just do the whole "One More From The Road" Album! Okay? God Bless Ya'll, Drewface - thenuthinfancyband.com

OK everyone updates as of today Have a professional BBQ Chef (competes nationally) working his magic on Saturday Friday night will be a more relaxed as folks will still be arriving. We will have a fire and BBQ etc on Friday night, etc. Saturday Morning we will start setting up the equipment, and preparing, sound check, breakfast. People will be arriving thru the day so we will Kick the music off in the Afternoon. Food all day. We are supplying all the food and beverages. Those who want to drink we as you bring your own beer, etc. We are Spending A LOTTT of money on food, etc and hope you all don't mind bringing the beer We have a full large scale sound system, stage lights, etc. I have a couple of very special surprises in the works for the evening so it will not just be members jamming. We will do a full jam, then a couple of surprise performers Sunday, we will do breakfast, and those who choose to can help with clean up, lol There is a possibility of some sunday afternoon entertainment per Andy. Still need a list of who all is coming. Musicians need to tell me what they are bringing equipment wise. Also, Email me songlist you would like to jam to so I can put a list together for the Backup band etc. Jammers should all PM me so we can co-ordinate. Much more to post in the next couple days.

Hey Bruce, I'm gonna bring my guitar, fender amp, microphone and a 4 channel mixer amp with reverb pushing a single 15 cab. I'll sing anythang Skynyrd but I would like to do One Way Out by the ABB. I can jam on my guitar to anything once the root chord is revealed to the band. At some point it would be cool for a DSJ jam band stage reunion, at least for a few songs.

Me and Jenny will be there. Woodjam, I like the DSJ jam band thing. I can play drums and/or guitar. Since last June I have been playing drums several days a week in our band and of course, I stay practiced up on my guitar too. Be a great time and also give me a break from the last 2 year's parties. It does take alot of prep time to do it. Hope to see all my friends there and meet some new ones

Hey Bobby.....so glad to hear that you're coming! ;D Hope Andy can make it, too. Really looking forward to this.
Since we are flying in, we won't be bringing any equipment. But since you've got a full drum kit there Craig won't need to bring anything. Unless your drummer has a problem with other people using his set. Also, after we leave Nashville we'll be renting a car and driving to Ohio and then flying home from there. So, I don't really wanna be dragging drum stuff around with us everywhere we go.......although he does like a certain brand of sticks, so he can bring those I suppose.
I talked to Craig about the songs. He's played almost all of what you guys will be doing probably at one time or another, recently and not so recently. If you can come up with a set list we'll look it over and maybe he'll have a better idea of what he might feel more comfortable playing. That's about the best we come up with in regards to the set list. He goes to and hosts jams a couple nights a week here in town so he's pretty used to sitting in and playing all kinds of stuff. But, he's obviously more familiar with some songs than others, so we'll just look it over first. Hope that's ok. Wish I could give you more input on that subject, but I can't.
This is gonna be fun!!

Man! I'm shore nuff gettin' pumped. If I still had that jug o shine Bruce gave me I could chug it, and see if I could induce a coma for a month or so. ;D Make the time go by quicker! Bruce I don't play or sing, but I can tap my feet with the best of em. We're gonna try to be there Fri. morn to help ya git set up and stuff. And we'll leave late sunday so we can help clean up too. And Bobby B can bang them skins and I got proof somewhere, let me see... Oh yea there it is!

LOL!!! I forgot TonyB had to remove his car door just to load up equipment last June. Now THATS determination. Yeah, I blew up my truck engine on the way back from Tenn last June. But it turned out to be a blessing in disquise. I bought a new motor with only 1200 miles for $500 and had it installed for $500 for a grand total of $1000. Its still running like a top today. The truck body has close to 300K miles now and still dont squeek.

Yeah i was there when TonyB arrived and had to disasemble his back door. I wish I had taken pics of that. Now that was a memory. But I was too busy laughing. Sorry Tony
Hey Randy & I are arriving on thursday. So Bruce we can help set up too. Randy is real handy at helping out with stuff like that. Nice how I volunteered him huh??? He don't mind. He's just happy to be going this yr. And If it weren't for my mom, we wouldn't be. We tried to talk her into coming but she says no. I'm too much trouble and too much of a hassle. Maybe some of you can talk her into it. I think it would be fun and just what she needs.

Hey, Jody... Heres a photo that I was just messing around on. I made a smaller version of the original so that you could see it as a whole in a web browser. I went ahead and posted the original one if you wanted it too. Are there any other members in the main picture that I didnt post as a mug shot?.... I left room for more to add more faces.

That is very cool woodjam and very impressive. I would love copy and save that if it is alright with you. I think that would make a great photo in a frame.
