HEY YA`LL.........that set list i sent out is just what my cover band plays, somewhere around 100 songs. i actually know more southern rock than i do non-southern rock thats not even on that list. we do all that other stuff to keep everybody happy in those beer joints i play eveyweekend(lol)...........but i will probably know about any song ya`ll would want to do, or atleast if i know what key you want to play it in i can easily adapt. i do open jams all the time, it`s all good. we gonna jam...............SCOTT

Been really weird weather here all season. We went into the 80's, had a freeze (which killed about everything), then we went into a draught.. Have not had much of anything. Weather forcast looks good, but you know that goes, if ya don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes  A big 20ft canopy would be awesome to cover the jam area. I have a screened tent to cover the food and keep the bugs at bay, and a 11x11 canopy for shade, and I think Bobby was bringing another canopy for shade. We can set up as many as ya'all bring for shade and cover. Like I said before, everyone bring coolers and drinks and I think we will be good. But, if ya feel like bringing anything, just side stuff would be cool. Like I said we got 10 butts of BBQ Pork, and some other stuff. Jody promised Mary Anne's world famous beans... Got, raffle tickets this year for prizes. We have a bunch, I think Jody mentioned he was bringing a thing or two, and anyone else is welcome to bring stuff. Got the Souveneir "Jam-A-Que" guitar picks yesterday... Johnny and Donnie's guitar player Steve C. said he would be there if he gets back from his gig in time. Amanda Williams said she was coming, Let's not forget or firends from Freebird band Guitarmike and Jade, and Joe (Skynyrdkeys) will be there as well. Stage area is done,, finalllllllyyyy, and I got the sunburn and soar back ta prove it. spread two truck loads of gravel for parking, and walkways. Got two big Bug Zappers ta keep the sceeters at bay. picked up Horseshoes, badmitten/volleyball stuff ta keep the youngins from getting bored. The wife even made me clean the Piranha tank and the little fish pond today. Got decorations, and a big Guitar poster for everyone to sign like a guestbook. Getting really excited to see everyone... |

Hey all, I'll locate that tent from last year and also a huge sleeping tent. Just gotta get in my nasty basement and pull them out. For the set list, I'm up for all southern stuff as far as we go cause they are what we are all about. me, Scott, and Tony has all jammed with Gary and CJ and they like to do alot of the older Beatles, CCR stuff. I'm getting all geared up being the final week and can't wait. We'll be leaving out real early friday morning and either work it out to hook up with Susan and Randy at their hotel so they can follow me. Bruce, I can't get ahold of Mark so I don't know if he's coming or not. Bummed him out to not be able to come last year. Anyway, Jody, Woodjam, Scott and everyone else driving long distances, please be careful. See ya'll soon

We can use plastic sheeting from walmart for the equipment.
Bruce how much PA system stuff will we have from your soundman and the southern band together? CJ will call you about bringing some more woofers and another board.
I'll bring my bass cabinet and and extra P bass for some others to jam on.
BRUCE TAKE A PHOTO OF THE STAGE AREA AND SEND IT TO ME so I can send it to Gary and CJ ....

You know there was bound to be something happen to make us all a little nervous. I know I got a problem with having oxygen there, but I will make due somehow. Things on that are just not working out. I'll just have to take it easy and pace myself.
I gotta tell you all something and I can post it cuz Randy will not be on here before we leave.
Randy has a brother he has not seen in 15 yrs. He lives in Indiana. They talk on the phone and talk about getting together some way. Well, I managed to get ahold of his brother Jerry and he is going to be knocking on the motel room door Sunday morning. What a great Fathers Day Surprise don't you think. Jerry is going to stay the night and leave for home early monday. I can't wait to see the look on Randy's face when he opens that door Sunday morning. Am I good or what???
