Thanks ya'll for your comments and sticking by me on that quick short issue today .....things have been resolved so I thought it appropriate to delete the thread(thanks Missy! ;D) ....so onward as they say....its just copyright bs........and the studio is somehow owned by the Smithsonian and you can't sell or take photos of anything that belongs to them....and I haven't and don't plan too (even though I took those photos before it was registered as anything to anybody...think about that one) ....but I do put my name on all my work I do so no one else can say that is is theirs or use it on their sight or youtube unless I grant permission ....so that is where the crap hit the fan....when they saw my name on my picture of their building they thought I was trying to say it was mine and for sale....well it doesn't make sense to me either....but things are talked out now and ok through Rick my film partner.
here is an example ...you cannot take a photo of the Eiffel tower at night....why? because of the lights....the company who put the lights on the tower consider that their work of art and work of art in some instances can not be copied or photographed....
well I understand that ...but people fly from all corners of the world to see the Eiffel tower and to have some body tell you you can't take a photo of it...well that sucks and I think there should be an exception in a case like that....but ...I digress.....
I hope this never comes up again.....even though I did nothing wrong ...as I said earlier its in his better interest to keep the video in the documentary because it would promote his studio to thousands of people in the world and free publicity is always good.....
so thanks to my family here.....
luv you guys
