Unfortunately I have some sad news....
The voice of the Allen Collins Band - Jimmy Dougherty - has died from a heart attack. See obituary below for details about his service this coming Saturday.

DOUGHERTY Mr. Jimmy Dougherty Sr., 56, went home to be with the Lord and his mom, Dora Lee, January 20, 2008. He is the singer/song writer of the Allen Collins Band and Alias. He is survived by his wife, Gigi, his son, James Jr., and daughter, Heather, two grandchildren, Caleb and James Dougherty, his father, sister, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering will be held 3 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the Central Church of the Nazerene, 2130 University Blvd. North. Arrangements under direction and care of ETERNITY FUNERAL HOME.
