Well as you know our band disbanded last week and due to this CJ one of our lead players moved down the street here from me and my friends bday was last week and we had a small birthday jam with him. So while my best friend John and I were playing our songs for CJ he broke out some of his songs on us and I thought he was playing some songs from an old Outlaws album and some Blackfoot but they were his originals. I was totally floored. 
So what our band is going to do ...well the 3 of the remaining members ...we will be going into the studio when things get situated and start tracking these songs. They were written back in the late 80's. I don't care if it sounds dated which I don't think it does but it has a very distinct Outlaws/Blackfoot sound to it and I think people need to here this stuff, seriously ...
Why does it have this sound...cause CJ is actually from the swamp himself...the MS LA coast..
So get prepared for some kick ass rock n roll this summer. I really haven't heard this sound in years.....I'M STOKED ;D
