Brothers of the Southland

Well, as many of you know Tony and I have been blessed to have been behind the scenes on a new record Brothers of the Southland. The Record features Bo Bice (American Idol), Dangerous Dan Toler(allman Bros), Henry Paul (Outlaws, Blackhawk), Steve Gorman(Black Crowes), Jay Boy Adams (Texas Chart Topper), Jimmie Hall (Wet Willie, Jeff Beck, etc) and others..
I was blessed to hang with the guys this week at rehearsals for their first show tonight at the Exit In in Nashville. What a great project this is!!!! The record should be out within weeks...
I will be doing an interview with Bo Bice and some of the other guys as well, so feel free to submit me any questions. ;D

I did'nt think this group was for real when I first heard the rumor. But damn ! Its for real !!! It's a darn Supergroup.. That's what it is ! They are really sounding good. And I like it when bands pay homage like they did in the tune "Brothers of the Southland", In the tradition of Souths gonna do it again, When youve got good friends, Gator Country, Reflections, Grey ghost, Large time etc. I like that little intro bit of Midnight Rider and another bit later in the song as well. You can definitly hear all the influences from the bands these guys come from...Great bands these guys have been with.Cant wait to sample the whole record and I hope these guys do well & hit the road, I would'nt mind catching these guys in concert. Maybe If they can get Bo out on the road with them they can draw big crowds and get lots of exposure.
