Bullwinkle asks? Found this picture in a paper around here that sort of gives you an idea of how big a Moose is. He werse found wandering around a town in Vermont called Newport and seen walking down Main Street. If ole Hooty werse there he would be behind that fence also. Look how big that aminal is, he's taller than that chain link fence almost

I love it! I lived up in Alaska for 3 years. (Military Brat)Sometimes you forget how big those critters are until a picture like that. Now put a full rack on that thing and it is nothing you want to mess with.

Hello Mr. Hooty. Nope, only in the zoo. His name was Binky. Thank goodness. I know they will hunt humans. Sometimes a bull moose would come across the air strip. We were taught to stay away from them at all times if they got into the back yard we had to stay in. They don't run like deer. We had a little league baseball game once and a bull moose stopped to eat in the middle of the field. One of the fathers thought he would be the big guy and went after it with a baseball bat to say the least the moose won. I lived there from 1976 to 1979. Outside of Anchorage. There is no place like it.
