ohhh thank you so much. Those are great words. I am just thrilled with these brothers. Let me give ya'all a bit of background on the Southern Boys Band (Bailey Brothers). They are George's nephews from Birmingham, Alabama. Also turns out distant cousins to our Tony ;D Anyway, we first invited them to the Jam-A-Que last year and they were going to back George up for him to perform for us. As you know that did not happen. When they arrived at the Jam they really helped me get thru things and we became family. Justin McCorkle and I have been very blessed to sit in with these very talented guys. I believe in em so much that I am working aggresively to create some oportunities for them. I think they have something most bands are missing these days, sincerity, heart, soul. They showed at the Jam4George and MusiFest, that it is not about the "chop" (how fancy a guitar player you are), you can win an audience over with heart. Trust me when I say this years Jam is going to show you a whole other side to these boys. In the interem here is something else for you: www.youtube.com/watch?v=d49tNUr9T80You can go to their website www.southernboysband.comand their myspace at www.myspace.com/thesouthernboysbandI am working on Justin McCorkle's site now, and I have been asked to do my friend Dangerous Dan Toler's new site and a few other sites that I am not yet at liberty to reveal, but,,,,, they are biggggg

First Mike, where the hell you been. I need to talk to you. I never got that mail to you. I sent it three time and it kept coming back. Lets get together in a pm to take care of that.
Second, seeing those guys perform live in June was spetacular. They rocked. I hope to get their CD next yr and have them autograph it for me. That song is the best along with one from another band called "Just A Boy"....Tony knows the song I mean and so does Craig. You all gotta come and see these bands.

I was really impressed with the The Southern Boys Band when we saw them in June. We didn't know who they were for a long time, they were just hanging around looking like Bruce's neighbors or something. Both Craig and I were really surprised at how good they were. Yeah, I think those boys are going somewhere, lots of talent there. I knew they were George's nephews, but I had no idea they were distantly related to Tony!! One big happy family.
Dixie Dreaming is a great song, too. One that will get stuck in your head for a while......but that's a good thang!
