Thanks Teri. You know unless you know the history that picture means nothing to some folks. The date was the first thing I noticed when I saw it.

Teri, Thanks so much for that! It sent chills up my spine when I saw that date, 2 days before that fateful day that changed my life forever!  I have been to many shows at that Lakeland Civic Center as I live only 20 minutes away from it. I pretty sure I remember way back in the mid-70's seeing an interview with Ronnie and he was asked what song would best describe him if he had to choose one? I am pretty sure he said "Whiskey Rock & Roller" After 10/20/1977 I had a black t-shirt made up with Ronnie's pic on the famous stage photo on the front and "Whiskey Rock & Roller printed on the back. It was my favorite shirt for so many years! |

Hey Scott, nice to hear from ya. Yeah, that picture makes me really sad to look at. I think that song probably fit Ronnie pretty well. Cool story about the t-shirt, too. Hope all is well with you these days. Come back and visit more often!  |
