The Hooty's were spotted tonight in Hartford, CT. Yes, they had backstage passes and were greeted by JVZ as if they were long lost family members!

Nice (finally) meeting you guys tonight. A great show - 2 post-78 songs is always a treat! If I can figure out how to post the Rick/Shorty pics I'll do it. I may need help - I've got the signed versions scanned. Notice Johnny mentioning Shorty after Curtis tonight? Not a coincidence!

It was a REAL PLEASURE meeting you in person. Wish we had more time to converse and share stories but what the hey, you are our neighbor so I am sure in the future we will git that chance. Thanks for sharing with us when they were doing the Tribute Tour. Now getting to putting them photos on DSJ. Go to Photobucket and open and account, its FREE and EASY like ole Hooty. Than you can name folders that you want to put your pictures in like Skynyrd Photos, Shorty Medlocke Pics etc etc. Click on the folder you want put them in on Photobucket. You will see 3 browse boxes click on one and it will open up the highway to your photo section on the puter. Select the picture you want click on open and than hit download on photobucket. Than copy and paste the URL and post it here it sounds like a lot but once you do it its simple man. Get it Simple Man. We can exchange phone numbers thru a PM and I will gladly guide you thru the process. Really nice to meet you Andy

It was great to meet you as well Andy. He came up to us and introduced himself as Andy and said that I know you guys. I honestly didn't know who he was and then I put 2 & 2 together and said OH Susan's Andy

We had a nice chat and he showed us some awsome Leon and Shortly pics that he wanted Rickey to sign. That would be great if you could make a copy and post it. It was kind of funny the other day about Shorty and was going to ask Rickey about him. If you have any stories about shorty could you post them?

At the Westbury show our friend Sally asked for 6 back stage passes for the 4 of us and her 2 kids. Dale took her name down and she said that she would try to get them for us. Her word was good as gold.

We got to meet up with Sally, Joe & co. ( Roadie) Box Car (Steve)Johnny. Dale, and Gary. Our new encounters were Andy and Kyle (drum tech)

I didn't know that Gary knew us as the Hootys

i'm bummed!!!! You met Andy before me. Just kidding. I'm glad you got to meet him. He is a wonderful friend to me and I know one day we will meet. i'm happy you got to meet him and chat a minute or two. He and I talk all the time and I just love him. Good for you guys. hope you had fun
