Tony, I already know these. good choice. I'd really love to do George's "It Takes Time", also "BF's "Train, Train" but as long as it's good southern tunes, I'm in and up for it

Sure Tony. We can do those.
Comin Home ...I can play the opening rhythm but its nearly impossible for me to play and sing at the same time once the lyrics start.. We will figure something out and make it jam.
Am I losing .... gotta brush up on that one too esp the breaks.

HEY TONY........i listened Am I Losin today. been a long time since i listened to that one but i remember how it goes now. pretty easy chord progression actually. verses & chorus are D,C and G. bridge to G and Bm then fall back on G/C flip flop & then to D & G again. they`re are a few stops and punchs during the lead break & bridge that`ll be pretty tricky ......SCOTT

Didn't mean to throw those on ya'll at the last moment...if its too much to cram in then we can pass on em...we still know quite a few to jam on...

I am listening to "Am I Losin'" alot today and I'll have it down pat. A couple others I like are "Workin' For MCA", "I Ain't The One", "Searchin'", "Needle And The Spoon", "Crossroads", "Saturday Night Special" and Scott, Woodjam, Mike, etc, could really swap some licks on "T For Texas" Hey Tony, "What about that bass intro to "Travelin' Man" yeah, Baby !!!

Ya'all don't forget that you will have Freebird's GuitarMike and Joe (Skynyrdkeys). Now, I expect ta hear DownSouth Jukin' and hope Jo will grace us with her signature backup vocal on that one I probably won't play much at all as I will be running round like a chicken with his head cut off, lol But, I will try to at least sit in on one or two songs. But, ya'all will have ta bear with me (cover me is more like it) since I have been so swamped I aint had much time for practice (but that is what the volume knob is for) Looks like there will be more PA than we will know what to do with. The southern boys band is bring a good one and a sound man. Gary Allen and crew are bringing one as well to piece in. OK, can everyone tell me what day and time I will see each of ya? Susan is coming in Thursday (early evening and getting a car and heading to Hotel). Teri and Craig are arriving later that evening and I am picking em up and taking them to hotel. But, wanted to get a gauge on who will be coming on Friday, and who will be coming early Sat to set up, etc, etc. Who is bringing what, etc. etc. etc. We have some stuff for free raffles, but if you are bring something, lets me know (I know Jody was bringing something cool))) Dang, not enough time in a day, lol

Hey guys.......please don't forget that there is another drummer coming a very long way for this party. Just between me and this board, he's really excited about playing with everybody. He's even bringing his own snare out of consideration for whose drum sets you all will be using that day. Let's try to make him feel welcome, ok?

by all means Teri ! to stay organized it might be a good idea for all us players to get with bruce when we are all there and find out what he's come up with as far as a schedule, as in during any jamming sessions how long will we have in each, then we can split up who plays when and even what songs each person wants to do. it will go alot better if we figure this all out first because I would rather spend the time playing rather than trying to figure out whose playing when and what. I know in years past at the WBB Dennis had it organized ahead of time to where while one band is playing the next is standing right there, guitars in hand holding their cord and when one leaves the stage the other comes right on pluhs in and starts. no down time hardly at all.

Yes, of course it needs to be discussed ahead of time because there is no need for wasted time between songs....very unprofessional. So, that was the point of putting together a set list. Maybe you all can talk about it Friday night if most of you are there.....or early Saturday morning....which was also the original plan. I hope ya don't mind me butting in with my 2 cents because I'm not one of the musicians. But I'm not totally unfamiliar with how it all works either. I just don't want to see Craig squeezed out is all......just lookin' out for my man! Most of the jammers are professional musicians who play on a regular basis anyway and deal with this stuff all the time.....you'll work it out.
