Hey my friends! I just got a card from Nicole. She said that she misses everyone. She is having computer problems and as she gets them ironed out she will be back to see her family. Gena is in France and that is taking a toll on Q as well.

Boy is she just going to love this new board ;D

She wrote me a 3 page letter about 2 weeks ago or so. She's got no computer, but she has a new boyfriend that is keeping her pretty busy. He's supposed to be working on her computer. I tried to call her with the number she gave me but it didn't let me leave a message for some reason. I'm sure she'll be back soon. She said Gena is hating Paris because people are rude to her. Guess they really don't like Americans! She also speaks fluent French (not just Cajun French, the real thing) so that can't be the problem. Anyway, I think she said Gena will be back for a visit in April, they really miss her around there. Also said she really misses us all, but I have a feeling that void is being filled with the new beau. She sounds real happy about what's going on with him. I'll try to get in touch with her again soon.

It wouldn't let me leave her a voice mail either... but I did get yet another prize pkg from her with a note, and she think's he's the one ;D

Nicole just called. She has been really sick for the past month or so. I know when we were in Memphis I spoke to her and she had a cold then, that was about Feb. 2nd, I think. Anyway, she's been in the hospital for pneumonia and still feels really horrible. Didn't sound very good either. She wanted me to let ya'll know she'll be back when she can. Said she'd call me tomorrow when she got more minutes on her phone, so I'll let ya know if there's any more news to tell. Sounds like this relationship with the new guy is pretty serious. Boy, is she in luuuuuuuuuv with this man!!

BTW, that little boy that's been missing that was just found today was from Brunswick, GA. Nicole said she went to school with his dad and also worked for him for a time. She said the whole town is just heartbroken over this and she was pretty upset, too. I can only imagine.

When Eddy found out about the boyfriend he nearly hit the ceiling Now he is watching me very closley on how I swing the skillet.

I am so happy that she has found someone to love and love her back.

Is Gena going to coming back to stay or is it just a visit? Those french really do have an attidue against us american's.

Nicole called me yesterday. She says she is officially engaged, but they probably won't be getting married til next year or something. She says she is real happy and this new guy sounds like a keeper!

She talked a lot about that little boy that they found murdered in their town. They were all part of the search team that were out there those days when they were looking for him. It really hit her family hard, guess they've known them for many years and the little boy was a friend of Nicole's oldest boy. Gena came back home for the funeral last week, but is back in Paris now. I don't know if she is still coming back for a visit in April or not.
