When we were in TN Randy bought this pair of sunglass's. He was just told at work that he can no longer wear them because they were becoming a human resource issue and they were racist. Un freaking believable. I know of several folks that would have something to say about this here at DSJ

That's ridiculous ... if his job wouldn't be on the line I'd say wear them anyway. I am so sick of people callin the stars and bars racist. Maybe Randy should look closely to what some of them are wearing and make his own complaint they wanna be that petty.. or, ya know that loud boom boom rap crap is pretty offensive

In 1989, my Father and I were at the Vietnam memorial in Washington D.C.. He wanted to find the names of friends he had lost. Out of the blue clear sky, this little gook kid comes walking by wearing a Ho Chi Min jacket! I was convinced that my Father was going to rip his head OFF. This young, foolish, man had a constitutional right to wear whatever he wanted to. To say whatever he wanted to. That's what the rangers at the "Wall" told us. I say, SO DOES RANDY!!

with my Skynyrd concert T-Shirts at work that had Stars and Bars on them. I reckon if you want your job you just cain't wear them at work and you got to put up with the IGNORANCE. I don't wear the Stars and Bars because I am a racist I wear it because it is on a lot of Skynyrd Concert Tees. I think it is also a nice flag built on the South revolting from the United Stated which is also what this Country is all about. Anybody remember the Boston Tea Party, what happened there well we dumped the tea in Bastan Harbor because we revolted on paying the English their TEA TAX. This country was built on Revolution. If a person wore a shirt with a certain colored man hanging from a tree thats RACISM. The Stars and bars does not depict racism but represents the Southern States that banded together.

Very well said Hooty. I agree. But like you said. When your job is at risk you gotta just grin and bare it. Randy has been there 20 yrs and we are still scratching our heads over this. It it were not for the fact that we need the medical for me so badly I would tell Randy to fight it further, butttttt.......Well you know what I'm saying. They got our backs to the wall. So he ain't wearing the shades to work.
