some of you know that Randy & I's trip gettin to TN did not go well. Here is what we sent to Delta airlines and here is their reply. I plan to put it on every site I can. And you can be sure we won't be flying them again. Please give me your opinion on this so we can see what you all think of this.

On 05/15/2008 we flew from S.F. to ATlanta Georgia for a connecting
flight into Nashville Tn. The plane was delayed in S.F. and we didn't
land in Atlanta in time to catch the connecting flight. There were
other passengers,one from Patterson Ca, that also found themselves in
the same situation. The difference being that he was compt for his
hotel room and he received food vouchers. We had to pay for our food
and ended up sleeping in the airport. To top it all off my wife, Susan
has a very severe case of COPD. She had no access to her medicine and
no oxygen because the airlines no longer allows the use of oxygen on the
plane. I approached the baggage counter to see If I could at least get
her medicine out of our luggage, and was told that that was not
possible. That luggage had to be there to be put on the flight out. So
needless to say she also had no medicine for her breathing for 24 hrs.
I truly believe this is unacceptable. I fly this trip once a year, and I
think that some sort of compensation should be agreed upon.

restrictions, as was the case with your flight, it is done for the

control, we do not provide compensation or amenities, such as meals or
lodging.
Please accept our apology for the unfavorable impression you received in
this instance. We appreciate your selection of Delta and will always
consider it a privilege to be of service.
