I just want to clarify the DSJ rules for new folks. We are all Skynyrd/Southern Rock fans. We all want to celebrate the music and memories. We do not offer a forum to post negative topics (whether they are true, right or wrong). We simply want to celebrate the good and not participate in bashing, rumors or gossip. We value this site as a close family. We also are proud of our friendships with members of several of the Southern Rock Legendary bands both past and present. So if you want to celebrate the music, bands, and fellowship without all the BS that is floating around, this is your place. If you want to debate who did what (regardless of who it is) there are plenty of other forums that thrive on that. We just feel that does not do any good for the memories and legacy of the bands. Hope this explains things, welcome to the family and have fun..

I know some folks may have noticed a thread disappear. Trust me when I say I truly hate ever having to delete anything. But, please, please, remember: Regardless of my personal feelings, or anyones personal feelings in regards to any member of the band (past or present), this forum is about the music. This just is not a forum for discussions on those kinds of topics. I just don't believe public debate about person's character, past, or personal life in anyway helps keep the band's music and legacy alive. It only tarnishes it, casts a negative shawdow, and eventually poisons peoples memories and feelings of the music. Please, respect my feelings on this matter. I am not saying you should not feel things, just please don't use this forum to spread negativity. Love you all
