And yeah, I've got a lot of pictures of my old jukeboxes. And if you're just talking about using them as a different icon somewhere all we have to do is use a different jpg image for the buttons or other icons we use here. Like these for instance:

Tony, thanks. I love that pic too. It was taken by the Drummer of Gator Alley Band. I never thought I'd say this but I thought a pic of me & Randy just seemed to make more sense. I love the one of me with Donnie buttttt....I love and am in love with Randy.

You know what Tony......that's not what you're talking about at all, is it? I do know what you mean now with the jukebox and the buttons. I've seen those. I used to have a jukebox friend that had a site like that, let me see if I can find it.

I, personally, like the idea of a jukebox theme......"jukin" obviously comes from that word and I'm pretty familiar with the history there.....old southern juke joints and stuff. It's up to the rest of you folks as far as a totally new look. I think we oughta go for a total face lift if it's not too much trouble to do.

I don't think it would be that hard Bruce. I'm definitely not a proboard expert, but if we just did what you suggested in your other post about changing the categories and boards it would make a big difference. Then we could just change the skins and icons and little stuff like that. Still keep the Southern look to it with the same logo and banners, but maybe change up the other colors or something.

Check out Gator Alley that Susan did. We could do something like that but with our own theme. She's got a couple of friends that helped her with it and there's also a pro-board help site with lots of ideas there, too. Like where to look for buttons and icons, etc.

I like the idea of the monthly prize and would like to get the notifications of replies as Tony mentioned.

Sorry I have been away son long but we had a bad incident in Virginia that we had to deal with and thank God it all came out good! And then we got our request to move here and it took a while to get situated. If I were at work I would be constantly sitting in front of the pc and would be on it a lot more. ;D Here at home I always seem to find something to clean ...........

A "GO UP" button on the bottom of page's would be nice so you wouldn't have to scroll up each time to navigate

Yes you can. I've added UP and DOWN arrows, but I think I need to change the colors. I can't tell on this old monitor if they look good or not. Are they too red? Wow, at least they work, I'm impressed!

Tony and anyone else interested.......I found this in the HELP section on pro-boards. However, I really don't think it's right. I'm sure everyone looks through their spam folders and junk mail.

I don't get notification/registration e-mails!

Most people experience this problem with Hotmail. Check your junkmail bin. Sometimes they are redirected through the filter.

OR

If you are an admin of your board make sure that your current listed e-mail is correct.

Update The newest versions of AOL have the "advanced SPAM blockers" and may make it impossible for Proboards to contact you. Or we recommend that these people create temporary free e-mails (ie. hotmail.com).

Note: If you change your email address, you should receive a new activation code.

Teri I see the that flashing new sign but I still dont get any emails for bookmarks or replies or pm's!!....yes use the jukebox jpg to fill out the whole first page with the categories.....

Don't know what to tell ya on the notifications. I never got them on the old forum either, but for some reason when we made this one earlier this year, I started getting them. Makes no sense. But, I don't ever get them from Ed's site and sometimes I get them from Gene's Dixie site on threads I never even posted on. So, go figure!!

Bruce told me today he was gonna mess around with the site this weekend. Let's see what he comes up with. We need to stay with the pro-board software, waaaay too much work to do if we changed it and it's pretty easy to work with. Hell, I made up and down arrows and they actually worked!! So, I like pro-boards.
He'll come up with something good.....cuz he's a kewl dude, that wallbruce fella!
