UH...Yeah....lol Well how this came about was I was on a shoot last week and I met the craft service lady (who is like over 30 )and we started talking about tv shows and videos she has worked on and stuff and then I told her that a friend and I will be shooting a song from the MTB and so I tell her the song name ...hmmmm nothing yet....I kinda keep looking at her for a remark and she just kinda looks at me like "What?" So I continue my story fast cause I wasn't sure if she cared or not.......a awkward pause here... So she finally gave in and said "Who's Marshall Tucker?"...... ok longer pause here...with my mouth wide open....... so I look at her like you're kidding right?.... so I explained to her who they were and why we are doing the music video. So a new person knows about MTB. I thought everybody on earth knew about MTB........

Good story, Tony.......I guess!! Man, I run into people like that all the time, I'm sure we all do. It bothers me but then I have to remind myself that not everybody has been "paying attention" to music the way most of us have their whole lives. I guess that's the reason. I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I have a story similar to that one, actually it's worse. I used to have all 4 Richard Avedon Beatle prints framed in my music room. X-husband took them because they were a BD gift from me to him- that was the deal and I keep trying to get them back with some kind of trade, but he won't let 'em go. These: cgi.ebay.com/THE-BEATLES-RICHARD-AVEDON-PRINTS-Set-of-4-MINT_W0QQitemZ160151055054QQihZ006QQcategoryZ29936QQcmdZViewItemBTW......those are going for cheap, but I had original prints, these are new. Anyhooooo, I had this neighbor who was born the same year I was and graduated high school the same year. So, she came over one day and looked at those prints and said "Those are neat, who are they?" I said "Ummmm....It's the Beatles, Annie." She says "Oh yeah, I recognize them now." And then just to mess with her (cuz I didn't like her) I said "You remember their names?" She said......"Well, yeah I know their first names, but don't remember all of their last names." Now, I understand that not everybody was a huge Beatle fan, I get that. But you'd have to be living in a f***ing cave with no radio, TV and be home schooled to not know who the Beates were!!! Especially if you were raised in the same decade I was.....or the one before or 3 decades after. My MOTHER knows the names of the Beatles. Around that same time frame Brad and I flew to San Diego to see The Stones. I told Annie about it and she says "The Rolling Stones? I thought they were all dead." Go figure, cuz I can't. Well, anyway, I never forgot that and just thought I'd share. Sorry it was so long. Anybody else got a story like that?

Great pics Bruce, thanks. I really like those southern boys and still want their cd. Tony it is amazing. I got one for you. I have a friend on the hunting site that is in his 20's. Late 20's. He knows I'm into southern rock. After knowing this young man for almost a yr. I find out last month, when we are talking about 38 Special. He don't know who they are . Ok I can live with that . So I try to explain who Donnie is in relationship to Lynyrd Skynyrd. He says. "Who is Lynyrd Skynyrd"? Now I find myself in a more awkward position. Who the hell does not know who they are. So I quickly start sending him stuff for info on them. He has read up but still don't know who they are. How do you not know SHA or Freebird? I'm still working with him. My next step is to get him a cd as a gift. Couldn't hurt, along with a 38 Special one. Now with that. I have another guy on the hunting site that has his ticket for the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert they were supposed to play but the plane went down. How amazing is that?
