The Hootys never really got to sit down and talk to the LEGEND but we had the good fortune to see him doing what he loved to do best which was to play music and make people happy with it. We got to see his current band The Renegades of Southern Rock play and my honest opinion of George and his band of Renegades was that they were the next best thing to the invention of sliced bread. When he and his band played Can't you see they held the audience in captivity, it werse like you were transported back to the 70's and was watching the Original MTB play that song in Spartanburg South Carolina. Geotge struck us as a happy and humble spirit who had a KIND word for everybody. His memory will live on forever in his music, his deeds and his WONDERFUL PERSONALITY The Hootys have spoken

Even though we never met him the Hooty's could tell one thing about George and that was that he LOVED everybody. This picture shows the humble side of George as one of his bandmates is put in the spotlight and GM goes into the background as they perform Wet Willies classic Keep on Smiling
