Our Hotel was the Fallsview Mariott. Our room was right under the word Mariott. Breathtaking view to say the very least. See the thing that looks like a shot glass to the right of the Mariott. That is an actual shape of it because that building was the original Seagrams Tower. We stayed there on our previous trip to Niagara Falls
![[image]](http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l67/skynhead/Resurfaced/PICT0014.jpg) Of course this is the Skylon Tower Restaurant that also has a great view of the Falls while you are dining. Yep that little yellow bug going up the side shuttles people up to the Restaurant and observation deck
![[image]](http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l67/skynhead/Resurfaced/PICT0019.jpg) Couldn't figure out what this building was on the American side but the Neon looked pretty from our room at night

Interesting story about this garbage scow. Two men were in it upstream from the Horseshoe Falls cleaning it and it broke loose from the dock. The current immediately started carrying them towards the Falls. Luckily they had the insight to open the bottom causing it to sink and hold on the maybe two foot depth water. There was a utility building on shore where after some time and thought they shot a rope to the boat and the men were able to climb to safety.

I love those photos Laurie. Those are awesome. Do you have to have a passport yet to get into Canada? I was wondering about that.

No you don't need one. They are very helpful though. Customs was crazy though. Not that bad for us because we had them. When you get there they ask you what state you are from. They look at your license plate to check that. What buisness you have here. Where you are staying. How long is your stay. Date of birth town you were born in. Comming home what did you purchace? Ours was a piece of cake but others were asked to pull aside.
A couple of people on the simple man message board had them open up the luggage and root through there. Not leaving it real pretty. I would have shot them right then and there I think.
Years back a co worker went over seas somewhere. They found mangos (fruit) fined them heavly and took them away.
Janet did you ever get your passport taken care of yet?
